I had a number of problems with Martin's Brugge: a) The front desk never asked if we wanted to stay in a smoking room but put us in one. Our room smelled like smoke, which was unpleasant. b) There is NO reason to have to charge extra for wireless at the rate you charge for a room. We have stayed at hotels throughout the world, and even in budget hotels in developing countries, wireless is free. c) We asked to borrow an adapter for 20 minutes and were told that we would have to buy one for 9 euros. People leave adapters in hotel rooms all the time and most hotels lend them out for use. b & c) These extra charges make the hotel look like they are cheaping out on services they should be offering. d) When we checked in, the front desk staff told us when breakfast would be, but never told us that it was not included. We assumed it was included, sa other hotels include breakfasts at these prices. We would have eaten breakfast at the hotel had we not overheard someone else get very upset that they were charged 17 euros for breakfast when they were also under the impression that it was included. You need to be transparent with your guests.

Hotel in the center, great breakfast, staff was friendly.
Very small room, in need of repair, the safe did not work, asked to fix it, so no one came. The windows went outside, it was very noisy at night.

The best possible location. A very comfortable modern hotel with an excellent breakfast. Rather superior for a three star!
Odd that there was no tea or coffee making facilities in the room. Otherwise it was perfect.

Ideal central positioning, lively market square nearby, vibrant bar atmosphere
Consider enhancing room amenities, like coffee-making facilities!!! Noise from outside, particularly late-night social gatherings, could definitely use some attention!!! Managing room temperature could be improved to enhance guest comfort!!!
